United States Marine, Inc. (USMI) is an ISO 2015 certified, small business specializing in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance support of composite and aluminum military craft. Support for craft maintenance, repair, training, and spare parts support are performed both CONUS and OCONUS. Manufactured craft include the 9M Multi-Use Expeditionary Response Craft (MERC) for NAVSEA/NECC, Combatant Craft Assault (CCA) for USSOCOM, 11M NSWRIB for NAVSEA/US Navy, and  the 33’ Special Operations Craft-Riverine (SOCR) for NAVSEA. USMI provides maintenance for USSOCOM craft through Special Operations Forces Support Activity (SOFSA), including USMI produced CCA, SOCR, and NSWRIB. Additionally, USMI supports the Combatant Craft Heavy (CCH) and Combatant Craft Medium (CCM) through SOFSA. Maintenance services for US Navy craft are provided through multiple contracting channels, including Watercraft Industrial Support and Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center.  USMI is providing customers with R&D support in such projects as retrofitting craft with mine-hunting systems, autonomous capability, portable mobility systems, light weight carbon fiber components, and providing solutions to mission needs. USMI has facilities in Gulfport, MS and Chesapeake, VA.

    USMI designed and produced two variants of aluminum riverine craft, the 10M Special Operations Craft-Riverine (SOC-R) for US Special Operations Command and the 10M Riverine Assault Boat (RAB) for Navy Expeditionary Combat Command....

  • As a riverine patrol craft, with missions of interdiction, insertion and extraction, both the SOC-R and RAB are highly maneuverable, providing the crew with the capabilities of a 180 degree turn or a full stop from full speed in 1 1/2 boat lengths.   The low draft requirement and craft configuration allow for ease of crew and passenger insertion/extraction.   Brief characteristics are provided below.
