The vessel is a twin hulled catamaran of aluminum construction, and is eqquipped with MAN engines, Cummins generators, ZF Transmissions, HamiltonJet waterjets and Humphree USA Interceptors. Its service speed is 22-24 knots, with a sprint speed of 29 knots.
On deck, the CTV has 10 metric tonnes cargo capacity, cargo securing points, a Palfinger crane, and a Nabrico anchor winch. The vessels is also equipped with a power washing and fuel transfer system.
This marks the second Jones Act transfer vessels built by Blount Boats for American Wind Transfers. The first CTV, Atlantic Pioneer, was built in 2016 and has been servicing the five 6-megewatt turbines at the Block Island Wind Farm off Block Island, RI for five years.
