Elgin Separation Solutions/Norris Screen
Elgin manufactures equipment for material handling and separation for many different markets. For the marine market Elgin also provides an environmentally safe and extremely effective solution proven to be effective against the attachment of highly invasive zebra mussels and barnacles on boat props and intakes. This is NOT a paint but is a thermally applied metal coating. This process binds a copper nickel alloy to a substrate such as a prop, prop shaft, and stainless steel rudder. Elgins coating lasts longer and adheres more strongly than any competing coating. The results are a much more durable shield against biofouling with a stronger bond to surface.
