Operators can easily monitor and control the ballast water system, fuel system, A/C system, and the like from the bridge. This eliminates the need for manual checks and adjustments.

One of the enormous benefits to the industry is the automatic shutoff of power to the electric motor when the valve has reached its designated position. A patented self-lock technology – unique to Eltorque actuators – holds the valve in the designated position without using power. This is a massive energy saver compared to all other actuators on the market.

    • QT250 is the best-selling quarter-turn actuator from Eltorque. It is suitable for a wide range of small to medium-sized butterfly- and ball valves with an operating torque of 50-250 Nm. The QT250 is available with Digital, Analog, and CAN bus interfaces. QT250 now supports dual CAN and failsafe features that support IMO/SOLAS requirements for safe return to port (SRtP) and emergency shutdown.

    In addition to the standard version, Eltorque offers specialized versions of the QT250 for use either on Open deck or in EX classified zones. These actuators are technically similar to the Standard version but are upgraded with key features to secure durability in harsh conditions. 

  • QT1000
    QT1000 is the next step up on Eltorque`s quarter-turn portfolio....

    • QT1000 is the next step up on Eltorque`s quarter-turn portfolio. The actuator is designed to operate butterfly or ball valves with an operating torque of 250 – 1000 Nm.

    The QT1000 is available with Digital, Analog, MODbus, and CANbus interfaces. 

    QT1000 now supports dual CAN and failsafe features that support IMO/SOLAS requirements for safe return to port (SRtP) and emergency shutdown.
