Logan Clutch Corporation USA: Logan is a Made in USA, OEM manufacturer of a full line of fluid or air actuated, multiple disc, wet or dry, industrial clutches and power take-off (PTO) clutches for Marine applications including: Front of engine PTO's, deck winches, mooring and render-recover winches, marine gearboxes, transmissions, z-drives, waterjet drives, bow and tunnel thrusters, diesel-electric hybrid drives, auxiliary gensets, pump drives, FiFi applications, and fishing net reels. Logan Bell Housing PTO"s are designed for direct couple to diesel engine flywheels, and SAE Direct Drive PTO clutches are designed to mount between a live PTO pad and a pump. Logan CH and HPC Clutches are shaft mounted (wet or dry) and act as a connect-disconnect for Azimuth thrusters and Marine Transmissions. HP ranges from 50 / 36 kw to over 3500 HP / 2574 kw. 

Advantages include: Drives and PTO's are engaged only when required, which means lower emissions, lower fuel costs, less maintenance, and fewer engine service intervals. High torque capability minimizes slippage on  heavy-duty winch and drive applications.     CH / HPC Clutches are air or fluid actuated, available in seventeen (17) sizes, and designed for wet or dry operation. Torque ranges from 49,000 lb-in (5532Nm) up to 2,880,000 lb-in (325424 Nm). Maximum allowable pressure ranges from 120 psi (8.3 bar) to 360 psi (25 bar).   • Logan Front of Engine PTO clutches are heavy-duty, self-adjusting, air or fluid activated, and act as connect-disconnect for front of engine hydraulic pumps. Engage the clutch using air or hydraulics remotely from your engine control panel or from the bridge. On demand power, with the push of a button or selector switch, reduces fuel consumption, emissions such as CO2, NOX, SOX and other contaminents. Easily disconnect the hydraulic pumps from the engine (via clutch) to troubleshoot hydraulics while the main or auxiliary engine remains in operation. Reduce ambient noise through intermittent use of pumps and equipment – ideal for workboats and Yachts.      Better engine starts: Reduces horsepower draw and cranking power required during machine start-up by disconnecting the hydraulic system from the engine.  Cooler running hydraulic systems since heat is dissipated with a disconnected pump. Applications include direct drive, or auxiliary drives including hydraulic pumps, FiFi, bow thrusters, hybrid drives, waterjet drives and more. The Logan self-adjusting Bell Housing PTO is air / fluid actuated and mounts directly to a diesel or gasoline engine’s flywheel, and can be furnished with standard shaft and keyway or with an SAE B, C, D or E pad and spline. Housings: Typical SAE flywheel housing sizes are from 0 to 7, with input torque ranges from 159 lb.ft. (216Nm) to over 10,000 lb. ft. (8163 Nm). Torque and Horsepower ranges from 60 HP (45kW) to 2700 HP (2016 kW). Operating speeds up to 3,000 RPM.
