Incorporated in November 2021 as a spin-out company from Greensea Systems Inc., Armach Robotics offers shipowners a proactive, autonomous in-water robotic cleaning service. Armach harnesses purpose built robotics with proprietary navigation and operational software developed by Greensea exclusively for Armach to efficiently and quickly clean ship hulls. The resulting clean hull optimizes ship efficiency, lowers fuel cost/consumption and provides a complete hull condition report giving shipowners new insight into the condition of their ships' hulls. By operating a continuously cleaned vessel, under the Armach proactive in water cleaning service contract, ship owners and managers have a effective tool to address the key enviromental issues driving new regulations taking effect around the biosecurity of the hull to stop invasive species transfer and lowering GHG emissions that impact the ships CII grade.

Armach Robotics technology is ready to meet the demand for cleaner, more efficient shipping operations, moving the industry forward with a disruptive, high-tech solution to cleaner ship operations.

 Products

  • Armach Proactive In Water Cleaning Service
Armach provides a revolutionary new robotic in water cleaning service to remediate the fouling on ships hulls through a regular proactive cleaning routine preformed by our HSR cleaning robot....

  • Dealing with microfouling matters because microfouling increases hull resistance.  Which means more fuel burned, higher costs and more greenhouse gas emissions.

Armach’s solution finally deals with microfouling, by efficiently addressing microfouling we create an alternative to the old methods that is better for the environment, better for the operators, better for the owners, better for the ports and better for the ship itself than waiting to deal with the alternative.

As important microfouling does not present an environmental threat the way macrofouling does. That slime, once removed, is not a threat to recolonize in the local waters and because Armach’s method for removing the slime is gentle - it doesn't damage the coating system. Meaning its not putting pollutants into the water, and its leaving the coating system intact.

Finally, Armach’s Hull Service Robot is small and doesn't require a big industrial infrastructure. Proactive cleaning can be conducted during a typical in port turnaround period and the small size lowers our operational carbon footprint in comparison to large capture systems used in dealing with heavy macrofouling.
