Plascore Honeycomb Panels are a high-strength, lightweight material that provide efficient mechanical performance. Our lightweight panels are an excellent alternative to monolithic materials (e.g., solid aluminum, wood and steel) as well as panels with traditional core materials such as plywood, balsa, and foam. Available in a wide range of sheet sizes and facings, our honeycomb panels are designed many marine applications, such as bulkheads, partition walls, decks, floor panels, overheads, and custom assemblies. Plascore has developed a selection of marine panels specifically for commercial marine vessel interior applications. These marine panels are certified by the United States Coast Guard and are approved as meeting Part 1 of Annex 1 of the IMO FTP Code with adhesive meeting Part 5 of Annex 1 of the IMO FTP Code.
