Baltic Lifejackets is dedicated to ensuring safety for those working on or near water through a dedicated range of M.E.D./SOLAS inflatable and inherently buoyant Lifejackets.

The commercial range from Baltic Lifejackets extends to buoyancy aids, hybrid jackets and flotation clothing that remain compact and easy to wear. Furthermore, Baltic offer safety harnesses lines, lifebuoys, life slings, accessories, and spare parts.

The M.E.D./SOLAS inherently buoyant lifejackets are equipped with retro-reflective patches, buckle, whistle, and a lifting loop plus buddy line. They are made using a durable fabric, tested and approved to MED Directive 2014/90/EU and meet the LSA code MSC 48[66] and MSC 81 [70].

The Baltic Industrial, Fishfarmer, Legend and INDU are inflatable gas lifejackets, and are available with a PVC outer cover that provide high resistance to flame, oil, mould and UV-light. The jackets range from 165N to 305N offering additional buoyancy to overcome heavy industrial clothing. The SLA version comes with an integrated M.E.D./SOLAS light, sprayhood and attachment for AIS/PLB. The lifejackets are approved to EN ISO 12401 as standard.

    • Retro reflective patches, lifting becket, detachable crutch strap and attachment point for sprayhood are all included.

    • Baltic flotation suits have an excellent fit due to their light and soft flotation material.
    • The design and layering help to moderate body temperature evening in very low temperatures.  
    • All suits come with waterproof materials and taped seams, fitted with exterior pockets, one inside pocket, high collar and a hood that can be rolled into the collar.
    • For added comfort there are internal braces for optimal fit and adjustable cuffs in the sleeves and legs.
    • All our suits are tested and approved to EN ISO 15027- 1 thermal protection. One of the criteria for this test is that five people in 15° C water for two hours must not lose more than two degrees in body core temperature.
    • Test subjects in Baltic floatation suits lost only 0.8° C.
    • As these suits provide the same buoyant properties as 50N buoyancy aids these suits are only suitable for competent swimmers.
    • The suit is approved according to the same standard as a buoyancy aid and comes with a buoyancy of 80N.
