The firm was established in 2000 and the managing partners have over 45 years of design experience of commercial craft. Farrell and Norton Naval Architects provide everything from complete design packages for shipyard construction to smaller oversite and consulting jobs. Capabilities include: fulll vessel design, stability analysis, structural finite element analysis full hulls and foundations, resistance and powering, tonnage measurements, and conceptual design and specifications. We specialize in small commercial workboats including but not limited to: pushboats, oil supply vessels, tugboats, fishing vessels and passenger boats.
