Digital Edge Subsea supplies the Oil, Gas and Renewable sectors, with its EdgeDVR video inspection system. With nearly 1000 units in the field and a worldwide distributor network, the EdgeDVR has a proven reliability record, spaning 15 years. There are 3 software options, Lite, Edge and Pro versions. We also have 4 hardware options, 4U rackmounted, Laptop, 3 Screen Workstation and our latest 2U Rackmounted IP Only Version. Apart from the 2U unit, all models are available in SD, HD and 4k options. Units can also be updated at a later date if required. The Edge Software Suite includes a Network Viewer, Client Viewer, Offine Editor and Workpack Creator.

We can also offer our clients nearly 24/7 tech support, as we have personnel located in Houston, UK and Kuala Lumpur.

Our Video Streaming partners, Harvest, can provide low bandwidth streaming directly from our DVR, with no additional equipment.

EdgeDVR - Lite, Standard & Pro DVR options

EdgeDVR is a 4U rack-mounted unit with a total storage capacity of 12TB. The system has 3 removable hard drives which store the survey video and photos. The Windows 10 Pro operating system is stored on a solid state hard drive for increased speed and reliability, with a second solid state hard drive for redundancy.

The EdgeDVR system has inbuilt automatic data backup using a proprietary data file management concept. A copy of all data from the inspection is stored on two removable 4TB hard drives. The third removable drive is used to store SD/HD Blackbox video and can also store video from third party inspection programs, COABIS & Nexus.

EdgeDVR Mobile Workstation

The Mobile EdgeDVR Workstation brings you the power of a 4U EdgeDVR unit but in a portable form factor. This portable workstation comes with a total storage capacity of 30TB and 3 screens yet still has the same capabilities as our rack mounted systems.... More Info Less Info

To address the need for portability, or if you are short on space, the Mobile EdgeDVR is now available. With a total storage capacity of 30TB, the 17” Triple Monitor unit has the same capabilities as the rack mounted system and 4 channel HD recording capability.

The system can be configured with 2 x USB capture devices (for smaller surveys) or a high-speed Thunderbolt enclosure which contains the capture hardware offering more input possibilities (for larger surveys).

Survey data is stored on 3 x 2TB internal solid state hard drives for increased speed and reliability. The Windows 10 Pro operating system is stored on a separate internal 256GB solid state hard drive.

It is also available in the 3 versions of software: Lite, Edge and Pro to accommodate your needs.
