EBI Jacking Systems consist of linear structure with gear rack attached and planetary gear reductions driving pinion gears that travel along the gear rack (rack and pinion). Jacking Systems utilize all electric or electric over hydraulic power and can be fitted with diesel engine or electric motor prime movers. EBI can provide all elements of the system including jacking control, alarms, safety interlocks, planetary drivers, hydraulic and electrical components, and structure.
Liftboats

EBI has been operating their fleet of liftboats in the Gulf of Mexico since the 1950s. Today, EBI is the only liftboat provider in the world who designs, manufactures and services all of their liftboat components such as their offshore marine cranes, liftboat legs, and liftboat jacking systems. EBI offers a wide range of liftboats in their fleet. Classified with the US Coast Guard as offshore supply vessels (OSV), EBI’s liftboats have been used for multiple shallow water operations such as wireline, plug and abandonment, core sampling, diving, offshore coil tubing, offshore platform construction & service, rocket launches, artifical reef installiation, and much more. Marine Cranes
Offshore Pedestal and Marine Cranes manufactured and sold worldwide in support of marine, offshore, and midstream oil and gas terminal operations, and additionally provides crane annual inspection and refurbishment services.
EBI has been manufacturing offshore marine cranes since 1963. Since the beginning, their offshore cranes have been designed and manufactured to be very rugged in design, low in maintenance, and competitive in cost. This is accomplished through careful coordination between engineering, component manufacturing, crane assembly and testing; all in accordance with API-2C and API-Q1 quality control requirements. Every crane is tested to 200% of its rated dynamic load and meets or exceeds all the API and OSHA standards.
All EBI offshore pedestal-mounted cranes are certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and can be modified to any specifications or classification a customer requests. Other offshore marine crane classifications that EBI Cranes has acquired for models of offshore marine cranes include ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), Lloydes Register, GL-DNV, and Bureau Veritas.
EBI has three offshore pedestal-mounted cranes designs; lattice boom, telescopic, and fixed boom marine cranes. EBI’s marine crane facility in Braithwaite, Louisiana provides all the design, fabrications, machining, and assembly for all EBI marine cranes.
