Mactech portable line boring machines make on-site boring operations much faster and easier.

Mactech Boring Bar Systems are the most versatile line boring systems on the portable machining market. The rigid setup, high torque motors and accurate cutting restores your bores to like-new condition.

Mactech and Bore Repair Systems, Inc., have teamed up to create the Bore Repair Package, which includes a Mactech boring system with Bore Repair System’s bore welder. This is a complete bore repair system for boring and weld overlay, shipped as one convenient package.

Avoid costly shop repairs and complete your bore restorations on-site. Quick and easy setup, powerful drive motors, and reliable operation make all your line boring jobs affordable and easy. Mactech’s boring systems are highly adaptable and can be configured to suit your application.

We also provide a BB (Big Bars) system. This system has an integrated feed screw, which enables the cutting head to travel up and down a stationary bar.

Our boring bar systems provide machining capabilities on set up equipment where disassembly or removal from the job site would be costly and time consuming. We employ a simple design to provide a stable, rigid means for machining of in-place, on site jobs. The machines are portable and provide quick and easy set up and operation.

Attachments and related equipment can be provided for facing, grooving, milling and almost any machining need. The design of the equipment provides for an efficient and rigid set up to allow you to get the job done quickly, safely and efficiently.

  • Diamond Wire Saws
For surface and underwater cutting of almost any material. Mactech Diamond Wire Saws cut in a range of 4.5" to 120+". ROV compatibility allows for deepwater work to be performed safely and efficiently....

The Cut-off Saw is light and small, making it easy for divers to set up. Get all the capabilities of our larger saws in an affordable and easy to use unit.

Our inline series of saws has the largest operating range, and are easily customized to adapt to your specific project needs. Our design helps to reduce setup, installation, cutting and removal time, and the small footprint saves deck space.

Our largest cutting range and most versatile design to suit most applications.

Cutting range of 14” to 120”
    8 models available
    ROV compatible options
    Standard automatic feed

Ideal for cutting multi-string applications or heavy wall legs and cross members. The vertical stance means it can easily fit in coffer dams or excavations with minimal dredging, where other saws can’t fit. The articulating design requires only 2 feet of clearance around the casing. This saw is ideal for conductor removal.

We are hiring! Here is more information about our current openings:
We’ve tackled America’s toughest, most interesting field machining jobs since 1974 — but our success depends on the right team.
You won’t sit behind a desk waiting for something to break. You’ll build ships, face power plant pipe and cut up offshore oil platforms.
We welcome experienced machinists, but hands-on experience isn’t mandatory. If you bring a ‘we before me’ attitude, we’ll train you. We’ll teach you.
