Marlon Marine Sound Floor Combi - Concrete system is a Marlon Marine VE 1400 Concrete system in combination with the floating floor system.

The system provides a very high sound reduction of both airborne, structure borne and impact noise as well as very good damping of vibrations and a very high loss factor over a wide temperature and frequency range, which provides a high degree of comfort on board the vessel.

Marlon Marine Sound Floor systems are A60 approved and have a building height for approx. 67 mm (2.68 in).

Prior to application of carpets, vinyl, etc. a smoothing levelling of e.g., Marlon Marine 900 SL, Marlon Marine 1600 SL or Marlon Marine 1800 SL can be applied.

Marlon Marine VE 1400 - Concrete, is a sound-damping visco-elastic system to be build up with a constrained layer of e.g., Marlon Marine 1600 SL. Together with our visco-elastic Marlon Marine VE 1400, this system gives an excellent noise and vibration damping of noise sources such as propellers, pumps, generators, etc. with a very high loss factor over a wide temperature and frequency range. Marlon Marine - Concrete system meets all requirements according to IMO FTP Code 2010 part 5.

Step One : 2 part A+B mix, toothe trowed out to self level at 1-2mm.  Step Two : Water-Powder mix of  sef leveling, high flexural and impact strength mortar based underlayment.    

Material consumption VE 1400:   1.35 kg/mm/m2 (7.01 lb/inch/ft2 ).

Material consumption 1600 SL:   1.6 kg/mm/m2 (8.31 lb/inch/ft2 ).

Application temperature:   5-35°C (41-95°F).  

Walkable:  8-10 hours at 20°C/68°F and 80 % RH.

Pot life:  15-20 minutes at 20°C/68°F and 80 % RH

Shelf-life:  Min. 12 months

Packaging:  Set of 13,5 kg (29,76 lb)).

Density:    1.0 kg/L

Application temperature:   5-35°C (41-95°F)

Material consumption:  1.0 kg/mm/m2 (5.20 lb/inch/ft2)
