We design custom cabinets for vessel tank monitoring and automation systems, creating quality, reliable and innovative design essential for your monitoring system. We can also retrofit our system into an existing console, even if it was built by another manufacturer, keeping you ahead of the curve without costly replacements. Some of our cabinets include:

• GUARD LEVEL® Alarm Monitoring Unit: Our Alarm Monitoring Unit (AMU) is an independently powered, main alarm control unit for High Level (HL) and Overfill Level (HHL) sensors. 
• GUARD LEVEL® Master Control Unit: Our Master Control Unit (MCU) supports up to three completely independent systems: High Level (HL), Overfill Level (HHL), and tank gauging. 
• GUARD LEVEL® Deck Alarm Cabinet Series: We have three different Deck Alarm Cabinets (DAC), durable, solar-powered High Level (HL) and Overfill Level (HHL) alarm panels made for open deck mounting onboard river and coastal tank barges.
• GUARD LEVEL® Multifunction Tank Display Extension: Our Multifunction Tank Display Extension (MTDE) is a heavy-duty, explosion proof remote display when used with existing Master Control Unit or Deck Alarm Cabinet. It provides a tank and alarm display in a hazardous area.
• GUARD LEVEL® Remote Display Unit: Our Remote Display unit is a series of rugged remote display instruments made in two distinct models.
• GUARD POWER™ UPS-400: Our Uninterrupted Power Supply -400W (UPS-400) is a high-performance unit designed to work with our Master Control Unit. It guarantees control of key emergency functions.

• GUARD LEVEL® Adjustable Compact Alarm Sensor: A rugged, stainless steel single alarm point sensor that fits into any tank opening greater than 1.5". Assures overfill protection for bunker tanks and other small service tanks.

The CARGORADAR® series is a mainstay for all of your tank gauging needs. Through our OEM Vega Americas’ partnership, we’ve produced a high tec, high accuracy (+/- 2mm) non-contact ullage measuring instrument.

From 26 GHz to the latest 80 GHz tightly focused Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar transceiver, the CARGORADAR® is perfect for any tank gauging applications with multiple mounting options. This transceiver also yields a tight beam-width, allowing smooth installation without in-tank structure interference in over-crowded tanks.

Add a built-in tan pressure sensor, or interface with tank temperature sensors for inherently low power consumption- all while assuring reliability and high performance. Install a wireless node to transfer radar data directly to your dashboard!

Bergan Connect is our innovative cloud service that brings together data from multiple vessels into a single, accessible interface. With Bergan Connect, you can:

• View your vessel's data from any time or any place.
• Receive data in real time with up to the minute accuracy.
• Track fuel consumption.
• Monitor your alarms remotely.
• Integrate with Helm CONNECT.

By integrating with Helm CONNECT, all of your essential operations are in one place. We successfully integrated with Helm Connect over a year ago when we sent tank level alarms to Helm's Task API interface. This allowed users to:

• Identify personnel issues.
• Provide training resources.
• Assist with incident investigations.
• Provide real time feedback to managers about vessel operations.

There is also the option of a custom dashboard, which can display both tank data and GPS location. A convenient button allows an end user to trigger a signal to record data instantly and send it to Helm CONNECT. Our dashboard is customizable and can include data from any sensors required for a specific application.

With the Draft Loading System, tankerman no longer need to lean over the side of the barge to read the draft marks, creating a safer environment by reducing the need to move around the barge.

In the barge industry, hand-help portable devices make monitoring precious cargo possible in any enviornment. Our Draft Loading System is battery powered and has a total weight of 5.4lbs, making it easy to transport. The attached Bergan CR31 Radar is accurate to +/- 2mm. The wireless transmitter can send data quickly and dependably to an Intrinsically Safe rugged tablet.

Pressure Sensors

• GUARD LEVEL® Hydrostatic Pressure Transducer: Our Hydrostatic Pressure Transducer (HPT) series are rugged stainless steel, Intrinsically Safe sensors that easily and accurately measure pressure readings in any tank environment. From high pressure full fuel oil tanks to tank vapor line lower pressure situations, the sensors work to assure ease and high accuracy, with safety first on the list. Pressure ranges can be set according to your exact specifications.

Temperature Sensors

• GUARD TEMP Digital Temperature Gauge: Our Digital Temperature Gauge (DTG) is a digital tank temperature sensor for tank ships and tank barges, and saves on deck cabling. It requires a simple 2-wire connection from the cargo tank to the main control panel for all three measurement points. 
• GUARD TEMP Single Temperature Sensor 100/200: Our Single Temperature Sensor (STS) series is designed for tank ships and tank barges, and can be fitted at up to three points per tank.

Through a partnership with SignalFire Telemetry, our powerful wireless nodes transmit tank level data directly to your dashboard. This allows you to monitor your alarms remotely, receive data in real time, and integrate seamlessly with vessel management software.

A standard coastal tank barge has between 6,000 - 9,000 feet of cabling and 50+ junction boxes. In a harsh environment, it can be a major cause of system failures and maintenance costs. Our wireless nodes require no cabling, which not only saves on maintenance costs, but also makes install quick and easy.
