AQUA EXO UNDERWATER CUTTING RODS
- Tube in a tube design gives operator the performance of a
tubular steel rod that burns exothermic.
- Oxygen flows through the center of the rod and comes out
in a tight stream giving the diver a more defined kerf and
reduces oxygen consumption by up to 25%.
- High visibility heat shrink insulation insures that the rods
are easy to see in low visibility and insulation will not
peel off like rods wrapped with electrical tape.
-Proprietary plating process on outer tube will not corrode
and eliminates requirement for cleaning the ends of rods so
they will go in the collet.
- Conveniently packaged: Ten rods are sealed in a plastic
bag.
-Bags are packed in a plastic box that will not fall apart
when wet.

The Sure Cut  Exothermic Cutting System will cut virtually any metal, both ferrous and non-ferrous, and is faster than conventional oxy-acetylene or carbon arc gouging.  The system is an excellent fit for heavy equipment maintenance, light duty scrap, and fire/rescue applications. Common heavy equipment maintenance applications such as frozen pin removal, gouging cracks, and the removal of hardfacing materials can be completed quickly and easily.  For firefighting applications the system is able to provide safe stand-off distance while making cuts, and is able to operate under spray when fighting an active fire.

Oxylance's AquaLance underwater oxy-arc gouging rods are a great fit for blackwater diving applications, as well as cutting exceptionally difficult materials.  Unlike our AqauExo exothermic cutting rods, the AquaLance requires electrical current to function.  This is very helpful in blackwater applications, as the rod will not burn when not in contact with the material to be cut.  The addition of an arc to the cutting process increases the burning temperature and enables the rod to cut difficult materials quickly and efficiently.
