  • FCM 400
The FCM 400 hydrogen fuel cell module is developed specifically for the marine industry and other heavy-duty applications....

  • The FCM 400 was borne of TECO 2030's vision to develop a zero-emission power solution designed from the bottom up for the marine industry and other heavy-duty industrial use. The FCM 400, features a modular design concept that will allow system configuration based on your specific power needs. It's compact size - less than 2/3 of a comparable diesel genset simplifies retrofitting of existing vessels, new build designs, and implementation for port and shoreside application.

The FCM 400 is based on PEM fuel cell technology that provides the high-power capacity, response and longevity demanded by the marine environment without reliance on battery storage hybrid for transient response. In addition to compressed or liquid hydrogen, the FCM 400 fuel cell can be coupled with reformer technology to take advantage of alternative hydrogen-based carriers such as ammonia, methanol, and natural gas. The module is built with the strictest safety protocols based on experience from the automotive industry and marine classification societies.
