  • Vectis Rover - Remote Fabrication System
Vectis’ RoverTM deployment method offers a rugged & flexible means of bringing our field-proven cobot cutting & welding tools to large workpieces....

  • Vectis’ next-gen RoverTM deployment method offers a rugged & flexible means of bringing the industry-proven Vectis Cobot Welding & Cutting Tools to large workpieces.  Built on a heavy-duty all-terrain cart, the RoverTM is designed with portability in mind for heavy-industry fab shops.  The cobot’s compact skid can be undocked from the full cart via forklift or crane, and placed onto large parts to perform long, boring weld joints.  This deployment option is available to be integrated with a wide array of leading power sources, torch options, and Vectis’ existing welding feature toolbox like ArcPilotTM through-the-arc seam tracking, Touch Sensing, and MultiPass offset welding.  The RoverTM seeks to unlock new automation possibilities for fabricators in heavy industry – think of it as a “mag drill for welding” where an operator can bring a tool to a workpiece and have the tool perform boring, dexterous tasks for hours on end.  Come see it in Booth 1918 (Vectis Automation) at the WorkBoat show!

  • Vectis Cobot Cutting Tool
Program & cut 3D components, tube, large parts, and complex projections with ease – for a fraction of the cost of a tube laser. Come get your hands on the easy-to-program interface at the show!...

  • The Vectis Cobot Plasma Cutting Tool empowers fabricators to make complex cuts on high-mix 3D parts & tube for a fraction of the cost of existing 3D shape cutting automation (tube laser, etc) and a major productivity boost relative to manual layout & cut.  We've taken the same extreme ease-of-use and flexibility the industry has come to know on our Cobot Welding Tool and applied that to the plasma cutting process.  Vectis' unique and proprietary software allows non-programmers to quickly teach shapes and cut paths with no prior experience required.  Our customers are using this integrated system to quickly cut shapes in large parts, structural shapes (angle iron, rectangular tube, etc), and welded assemblies; all while typically seeing a 3x productivity boost vs. manual layout & cut
  • Vectis Cobot Welding Tool - Heavy Duty Config
The heavy-duty version of our Cobot Welding Tool comes beefed up with a 450 amp welder & a stout water-cooled torch. It’s in the field welding 0.045”, 0.052”, and 1/16” wire all day long. A shipyard fabricator's dream tool on the shop floor!...

  • Our heavy-duty water-cooled Cobot Welding Tool is built to withstand the high amperages of larger weld wires and the high duty cycles of heavy fabrication.  With a 450 amp welder (@ 100% Duty Cycle) and D/F water cooled torch backed by a 15,000 BTU water cooler, it’s ready to weld with large wire all day long.  It’s beefed up, but still extremely versatile and easy-to-use with our mobile cart platform and Let’s Weld Together software.  This heavy-duty configuration can be paired with our MultiPass and ArcPilotTM Through-The-Arc Seam Tracking features to handle the large weld sizes and variations common in heavy fabrication.  Come check it out in our booth 1918 and get your hands on a teach pendant to see how easy it is to program!

  • Vectis ArcPilot Seam Tracking
Vectis' ArcPilotTM brings through-the-arc seam tracking to cobot welding. This powerful feature enables fabricators to compensate on-the-fly for production realities such as distortion, inconsistent parts/fixturing, and imperfect programming....

  • Even with upstream improvements and better fixturing, inconsistencies still exist in the weld shop.  Vectis’ ArcPilotTM feature arms our system with an extra "tool in the toolbelt" to help manage those inconsistencies on symmetric joints for carbon steel and stainless steel.  This through-the-arc seam tracking functionality enables path correction during live welding by monitoring the welding arc’s electrical characteristics and making cobot path adjustments in microseconds.  This feature allows more applications – particularly in heavy fabrication – to be tackled by our cobot welding tool.

  • Vectis systems with UR20 long-reach cobot
This extended arm brings 18” of additional reach radius (36” diameter increase), greatly broadening the range of weldments that will be achievable in a given setup....

  • Vectis Automation is ecstatic to offer the long-reach UR20 arm on our integrated Cobot Welding & Cutting Tools.  This extended arm brings 18” of additional reach radius (36” diameter increase), greatly broadening the range of weldments that will be achievable in a given fixture setup. The UR20 also brings next-gen design enhancements – including 50% fewer parts in the axis drivetrains – to further improve on UR’s already robust and high-performance cobot products that Vectis integrates into our cobot welding & cutting tools.

  • Vectis Multipass software
Our MultiPass software feature allows you to quickly, easily, and accurately create beautiful multi-pass welds on any part geometry – including circles, corners, and compound paths.
Come get a demo for yourself in Vectis Booth 1918!...

  • Creating subsequent passes with Vectis MultiPass is as simple as teaching a single offset point that our software then calculates full-path offsets from - and these offset "recipes" can then be stored for future use on different joint geometries.  Come get a demo for yourself in Vectis Booth 1918!
