Type 8010, Type 8012. and Type 8014 Navigation Light Control Panels for optically isolated supervision of navigation light fixtures, branch circuit wiring and power sources. Suitable for controlling dual, single or twin single lamp fixtures, fed from dual independent power sources.
All three panels provide dimmable LED indicators for lamp on, lamp circuit failure, primary and secondary power available and power fail. Audible alarms sound on failure; the panels include a silence pushbutton. Type 8010 and Type 8012 include front replaceable fuses are used in the lamp control and power select modules.
The Type 8012 Navigation Light Control Panel provides for a higher lamp load capacity and automatic transfer features for both lamp control and input power. On primary lamp failure, there is automatic transfer to secondary lamp for duplex fixtures. Primary power source failure will result in automatic transfer to the secondary power source.
The Type 8014 Navigation Light Control is a compact, control, alarm, and monitoring system for single, twin single, or dual style LED navigation light fixtures.
The Type 8014 display unit contains all push buttons and audible/visual indicators required for monitoring and control functions. Illuminated push buttons are provided for individual lamp on-off control, group functions, primary and secondary power source selection, dimming control, and test/silence. Dimming control of all panel back lighting and indicators is provided for viewing in conditions ranging from direct sunlight to night operations. An internal horn is provided for audible
The Type 8014 control unit is connected to the display unit by serial communication. All navigation light fixture connections are made at the control unit. The internal control circuitry monitors the fixtures for failure or wire breakage. Fixture “running hour” monitoring can be enabled to provide notification of the calculated end of useful life of the LED array. On primary lamp failure, there is automatic transfer to secondary lamp for duplex fixtures. Input power is similarly monitored for availability and failure; transfer to secondary power will automatically occur on primary power failure. All fuses for power inputs and lamp outputs are front replaceable, without disassembly/opening of the control unit.
The Type 8014 NLP system can be configured to operate from 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 120 Vac, or 240 Vac power sources in and is available in 10 or 14 position sizes to suit vessel requirements. Multiple display units and control units can be interconnected to create larger fixture capacity.

Additional features of the Type 8014 include:
Self-diagnostics and troubleshooting display for ease of maintenance.
Serial output for connection to ship’s vessel monitoring system (Modbus RTU slave) for remote monitoring and control of the navigation light fixtures.
Function keys to change multiple lamps or special lamp functions.
Serial output for connection to ship’s VDR (NMEA 0183).
Optional inputs/outputs can be provided to interface with remote mimic panels.
