This 40-grit flap disc improves the working experience by removing the guesswork with its innovative segmented design that delivers transparent line of sight to the work surface while grinding for reduced over-abrasion and maximum efficiency. Along with its segmented design, a special coating reduces heat buildup on the disc compared to traditional flap discs for increased performance and longer life. SIGHTMAX™ flap discs utilize a high-quality zirconium abrasive grain for quick stock removal, and their iron- and sulfur-free construction reduces oxidizable particles left behind on finished surfaces to help prevent rust from forming.
