Blueye Robotics is a Norwegian underwater technology company based in Trondheim with roots in the highly renowned Centre for Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems (AMOS) at NTNU. Since 2015, the overarching design goals have been exceptional ease of use, portability, and robustness. Blueye Robotics launched the first underwater ROV model in 2019, and since then, more than 1100 systems have been delivered across verticals in over 50 different countries.
Blueye ROVs provide situational awareness, limit divers' risk, and uncover possible threats underwater. The Blueye X3 is the most robust, one-person portable, and versatile underwater ROV deployed by users such as The Norwegian Armed Forces, U.S. Navy, Dutch MOD, and Oceaneering.
The Blueye X3 ROV has three guest ports enabling the integration of external equipment such as sonars, manipulators, positioning systems, and various other sensors. The software system runs on Apps for iOS and Android and is easily user-end upgradeable.
