The Viper Wire Rope Lubricator Systems are designed and manufactured in Australia providing a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible solution for lubricating wire ropes. Assisting customers to achieve Best Practice in wire rope lubrication reliability and increasing the life of assets and wire ropes by up to 300%. Viper Wire Rope Lubricators are used globally, as industries need to ensure the optimum condition of their equipment. With the ropes subjected to extreme conditions, employing an effective maintenance solution is imperative, as its critical to maintain productivity. These harsh environments and exposure to saltwater, abrasive substances and extreme temperatures can accelerate corrosion, leading to structural damage and compromised performance of wire ropes. The Viper WRL helps combat corrosion by massaging lubricant deep into the ropes core. This provides a protective coating and acts as a barrier against moisture and corrosion, therefore extending the life of the assets and wire ropes.

 Products

  • Viper WRL - Ship Lifter application
The Viper WRL system provides fast and effective cleaning and lubricating of wire ropes. Traditional manual lubrication methods will not see the lubricant reach the wire core and corrosion from contact with rain and seawater will most likely occur....

  • A Ship Lifter System uses a platform connected to multiple winches to raise and lower vessels out of thewater.
Ship lifters range in size and can have from 12 to more than 80 winches. Each winch is fitted with a wire roperanging in diameter from 30mm to over 50mm. Ship lifters are used throughout the world with the mainmanufacture being Syncrolift AS.
The ship lifter will have multiple wire ropes connecting the support platform to each of the winch drums. Asthe ropes are partially operating in salt water, it is important that they are effectively lubricated to providethe protection needed.
Traditionally completed by hand, the manual lubrication process can take several hundred man hours tocomplete, limiting operation of the lifter and is also not nearly as effective as using a modern, pressurelubricator system.
