Description
Our closing general session explores a new type of wearable concert-going technology. The Vibrotextile(TM) vest with wrist and angle bands pulses in sync with live musical performances, enabling wearers to feel the music through their skin - giving both deaf and hearing concertgoers and music fans a new way to enjoy their experience through vibrations across the whole body. In partnership with Music: Not Impossible, Art-Reach and Opera Philadelphia this session will showcase (and live demo) this new, innovative and revolutionary technology, how it was inspired, and ways it has been experimented with to provide a unique and nuanced music experience that enhances accessibility for everyone.
