Palpa is a unique device for women that teaches how to feel a tumor on their breasts and improve breast cancer early detection during their shower routine.
Most of the energy in breast cancer early detection is focused on women who are at least 40 years old through mammograms, but the truth is that more than 10,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women under this age. women who can’t be tested with mammograms and can only detect lumps through breast self-exam.
Our vision is for breast cancer to stop being a taboo topic and to empower young women in front of this disease through education and selfcare. Our dream is to see Palpa in every shower which promotes a culture change in the general view of breast cancer, less fear and more knowledge, starting in Chile and then reaching out to the whole world.
