Nor Education verifies authentic student writing. AI detection does not provide evidence and we want to shift focus “from cheating detection to confirming honesty”. We compare the student’s response with their previous work, and confirm authorship by asking questions from the response, providing evidence-based reports, and mitigating false positives. With this method we contribute to upholding academic integrity by confirming student honesty.
