  Antheus: Magnificently Elegant

  Villeroy & Boch, Americas is pleased to present its newest bath collection, Antheus at BDNY 2018. Crafted from the finest materials, the balanced proportions, and geometric contours inspired by Art Deco are featured front and center in the new Antheus collection. The exclusive design was developed by designer Christian Haas, creator of tableware, glassware, lighting, and furniture, as well as complete interior concepts, for customers all over the world. Born in 1974 in Germany, Haas, known for his playful harmony of sobriety and style, has previously designed for Villeroy & Boch’s Tableware Division. Antheus is his first collaboration with the Bath & Wellness Division.

  With Antheus, Haas combined lightness and elegance with a contemporary classic look. The design of Antheus is unusual, yet timeless—featuring unique shapes and an exciting blend of materials. This is an extensive bathroom collection introduced in Europe in 2017 for which Villeroy & Boch has accelerated a North American launch plan including the introduction of the innovative and proprietary Quaryl® bathtub with an optional stainless steel frame, and diverse washbasin designs.

  Extravagant Ceramic Washbasin

  Antheus washbasins are reminiscent of classic ceramics of the 1920s. They create fascinating shadow and light effects on the surface depending on the user’s perspective. The washbasins are made from TitanCeram, a proprietary, innovative ceramic material developed by Villeroy & Boch specifically for the production of its exquisite premium designs. TitanCeram allows for sharply defined edges and a radius with extremely thin walls. Antheus washbasins are distinctively cubic but combine perfectly with a gently flowing inner surface of the basin.

  The Proprietary Strength of Quaryl®

  Antheus bathtubs combine delicate design with incredible strength, made possible through the use of Quaryl®. Quaryl®, a Villeroy & Boch proprietary innovation, is created by blending sanitary acrylic with quartz a naturally hard mineral. This innovation allows bathtubs to have a precise design and a brilliant shine at the same time. The smooth, nonporous and heat-retaining surface is sturdy, non-slip, and very easy to clean.

  The line offers flexible design options, with three different overflows to choose from: without an overflow hole with a push-to-open feature, with a classic overflow hole or with the ViFlow concealed overflow function and electronic control device.

  History Meets Modernity – A Design Statement

  Christian Haas selected unusual combinations of materials to emphasize the unique and contrasting blend of history and modernity in Antheus’ design statement.

  Elegant marble tops classically showcase the faceted surface-mounted washbasin. The marble in the basic colour black (Nero Marquina with distinctive white quartz veins) accentuates the elegant design.

  Polished stainless steel introduces a trendy, ultra-modern component to the collection. As a solid flowing frame, it acts as a visual border in the washing area and provides an optional design highlight for the bath.

  The new premium collection from Villeroy & Boch not only meets the desire of discerning customers for lasting values, premium workmanship and enduring design, but also opens a whole new spectrum of personalized bathrooms at the highest level.

  SupraFix 3.0: the new generation of the toilet attachment system

  Easy installation. Invisible mounting system. Villeroy & Boch's SupraFix 3.0 makes light work of toilet installations. Since its launch in 2009, the patented toilet attachment system has proven its worth in practice. With the launch of SupraFix 3.0, the company is now unveiling a new generation (patent application pending) allowing even more flexible and precise positioning.

  As before, SupraFix 3.0 also allows wall-mounted toilets to be installed easily and securely by just one person - very quickly, working conveniently from above with no visible screws, holes or covers. The same holes in the ceramic are used to attach both the toilet and the seat.

  Intelligent two-in-one functionality and new vario nuts

  In the first step, two mounting brackets are secured using a single connector made from high-quality plastic and attached to the wall to support the toilet. As soon as the installer places one of the two mounting bolts in the assembly holes, SupraFix provides stable support. The installer can then align the toilet and tighten the mounting bolts from above using an Allen key. This pulls the toilet firmly against the wall.

  New vario nuts, developed specially for SupraFix 3.0, are used to fit the toilet seat. The vario nuts provide a mating thread for the hinges in the bolt and allow flexible alignment of the toilet seat with the ceramic according to the customer’s wishes - either slightly projecting or flush fitting. For a perfect fit.

  SupraFix 3.0 will be launched for all wall-mounted toilets previously installed using SupraFix 2.0 from 2018. The new seats, as before, available in different designs and with QuickRelease and SoftClosing, will then automatically be supplied with vario nuts. There will be no change to the item numbers.

  The compatibility of the two SupraFix systems avoids any problem with subsequent purchases of toilet seats. A new toilet seat with SupraFix 3.0 can be fitted on a toilet installed with SupraFix 2.0. The vario nuts are not required in this scenario. When fitting a toilet seat to a new SupraFix 3.0 toilet, the vario nuts are required in every case. Installers can order these from the Villeroy & Boch Service department as they will not be enclosed with models delivered before the changeover. Other spare parts for SupraFix 2.0 and SupraFix 3.0 are also available, if required.

  The successful Levanto collection brings modern comfort to bathrooms thanks to its timelessly elegant design coupled with a balanced combination of linear ceramics and striking furniture. The range not only consists of various vanity units, but also includes attractive cupboard units that provide the perfect storage space for bathroom accessories and a large ledge for towels or toiletries. If a lot of space is needed, then cupboard units can be installed between two vanity units. They can also be combined with many other washbasins from the current Villeroy & Boch range.
