WELCOME TO THE SIERRA DELTA ASHRAE CHAPTER
Welcome to the 2023-2024 ASHRAE year. I am honored to serve as the Sierra Delta Chapter President and I want to thank all of our friendly, dedicated members who have graciously volunteered their time to keep pushing the Sierra Delta Chapter forward. ASHRAE society president Ginger Scoggins’ theme for this year is “Challenge Accepted: Tackling the Climate Crisis.” The Sierra Delta Chapter will set our focus on the technical side of tackling this challenge and how sharing knowledge within our large ASHRAE community can help achieve real results.

We are sad to inform everyone of a great loss to the Mechanical Engineering world and our Chapter. We just found out that back in September of 2023 one of the founding charter member and first chapter president Alex Scheflo. Alex was an outstanding man. He was active in his community. He was a very active member of the Sierra Delta Chapter, He will be greatly missed. Please click the button below to see Alex’s obituary.
