The NFR is the largest effort ever undertaken to understand and reduce cancer among firefighters. NIOSH will invite firefighters across the country to join the NFR in Fall 2022. All firefighters—structural and wildland, career and volunteer, active and retired—should consider participating. This includes firefighters who have never received a cancer diagnosis, as well as those who have or had cancer. Learn more at CDC.GOV/NFR.
