Extend Gigabit services using existing in-building wiring
Positron Access extends the fiber or fixed wireless network from the cost-effective point to each subscriber in MDUs / MTUs over the existing in-building wiring. Positron’s G.hn Access Multiplexer (GAM) enables virtually symmetrical Gigabit services to 800 ft over telco pairs or 2600 ft over coax. The GAM eliminates rewiring disruption, installs in hours at 20% of the cost of installing fiber, is compatible with all ethernet residential gateways, OLTs and integrates with operator IT systems (looks like PON). It has extensive management and troubleshooting, carrier features, including low latency, quality of service (QoS), bandwidth management, business class SLAs, VLAN support, non-blocking, and dynamic bandwidth allocation. Management over telco pairs or coax is identical. Available in indoor & outdoor IP68 models with reverse power feed (RPF). The GAM enables service providers to have the fastest time to revenues, the lowest CAPEX and the highest ROI.
