In 2009 the iP Advisory Board launched a non-profit called the Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network – USOLN. The USOLN was tasked with creating the Certified Utility Safety Professional – CUSP credential. In five short years the CUSP has become a highly respected credential and there are 600+ credential holders. Carla Housh, President & CEO of Utility Business Media, also serves as the Executive Director to the USOLN.
