Sunday May, 19th

10am - New @ Noted

Join Sarah Schwartz, editor-in-chief of Stationery Trends, as she shares the work and stories of makers exhibiting at the show. The presentation will serve as a great introduction to the exhibiting brands and the breadth of design available at the show.

2pm - Modern Card Politics: The Women's Movement

Sarah Schwartz, editor-in-chief of Stationery Trends, sits down with an esteemed group of panelists to examine the impact of the Women’s Movement on the greeting card market. How are card trends and correspondence being impacted, and what are makers and retailers doing to move the most product?

9am - The Role of the Sales Rep

Amy Curtis of Up With Paper will lead a discussion of what retailers want and expect and how reps can help them; what reps need from publishers; what publishers need from reps. Reps are such an important part of our industry – how can we best support them?

10am - USPS Rededication of the newly designed Love Stamp, with participation of the artist

First day of issue commemoratives will be available for purchase.
The ceremony will run for approximately 30 minutes with an introduction of the designer and accompanying remarks. The venue will be available after the ceremony for individuals to meet the designer and get autographs.

2pm - Thinking of You Week 2019: How Publishers & Retailers Can Get Involved

Launched in 2018 with the sponsorship of the GCA, Thinking of You Week encourages everyone to send a card a day for a week, Sep 23-29, 2019. The U.S. Postal Service’s Thinking of You postmark in 2018 helped spread the message to over 500 million households! Nicky Burton, owner of Calypso Cards, will present ideas and suggestions about this opportunity to get involved in your local community, to encourage people to reach out to others, and, incidentally, raise the profile of the greeting card industry, which, after all, is all about personal connection.
