Why design a technology like this, what issues do we address?

- Often maintenance issues render the expensive lithium battery useless well before the stated life cycle claimed in labratory testing.

Further the recycling process is not straight forward, few processing facilities are available and special transport adds to costs.

How does Motobatt Hybrid technology work?
With clever electronics and safe proven chemistries the future of the Automotive industry is Motobatt Hybrid.
When the battery is used for cranking the Lithium pack is utilized for its increased cranking performance which shields the AGM cells from the damaging initial starting loads, the AGM provides the Amp Hour Capacity neccessary to run all the constant power loads required for the vehicle to perform properly.
This synergy means the AGM cells are barely loaded, and in so now operating more like a Deep Cycle UPS battery, just to provide constant load energy. The ability to "shield" the Lead Acid cells from rapid discharge and voltage drop increases lifecycle expodentially.
In turn the AGM cells offer constant load performance to "take the load" from the Lithium cells allowing them to meerely provide energy loads to crank the engine, thus the two chemistries complement each other in load sharing, while providing greatly enhanced performance when needed, and more importantly less damaging loads to the cells.
