Please note:

It has come to our attention that ACT Expo sponsors and exhibitors have been receiving emails stating they may purchase the ACT Expo attendee list. These emails are not coming from ACT Expo nor are the companies emailing associated with ACT Expo or Gladstein, Neandross & Associates. They are scams.

ACT Expo has been sending cease and desist orders but as soon as one goes out, another email solicitation (under a different name) appears. This is an ongoing issue faced by meeting organizers worldwide. We encourage you to respond to these solicitations with a demand that you and your company be taken off their email list immediately. If the emails continue, the Federal Trade Commission advises that you forward unwanted or deceptive messages to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov and file a complaint with the FTC here.

You can also send the spam emails to your email provider. At the top of the message, state that you're complaining about being spammed. Some email services have buttons that allow you to mark messages as junk mail or report them spam. If you can determine the sender's email provider, you can report the spam to them as well. Most web mail providers and ISPs want to cut off spammers who abuse their system. Make sure to include the entire spam email and say that you're complaining about spam.
