For EMS week, we want to highlight a few of our very own first responders! First we want to recognize Trent Harris. Trent has been in the emergency medicine field for 28 years and is licensed in TN as a Critical Care Paramedic and a Board Certified Tactical Medic. Here's Trent's top takeaways from his experience as a first responder: 1. God, Family, Work.... Everything else will fall into place. 2. Be nice to everyone you meet if at all possible. You never know who you'll be looking up at on the worst day of your life. 3. Don't take anything for granted. It can all change in the blink of an eye . 4. Most people never think twice about what happens when they clock out and go home. But there are some people working around the clock just to make sure your community and your family is safe in the event of an emergency. 5. First Responders have a weird sense of humor. It's ok though, it's a way of coping. Trent, we appreciate you and we are so thankful for your service in our community! #EMSWeek #EMSWeek2024 #FirstRespondersFirst #EMT #Paramedic
