BUFFALO KLOOF – SOUTH AFRICA encompasses 40 000 acres in the malaria free Eastern Cape. From the genteel giraffe, enigmatic elephant, and iconic rhino, roan, sable, hippo and Cape buffalo which roam the land in droves; to the spectacular contrasts of the land itself: pristine, steep shady ravines teeming with thick riverine indigenous bush to open plains and grassland – and everything in between.
This is the perfect SAFARI for the whole family. Hunters will be accommodated in the historic, comfortable, spacious lodge and bush camp. Bedrooms are all en suite, underfloor heating and extra King size beds. Dinners are served in the boma around a roaring camp fire.

The reserve is already home to the ‘Big 4’ game species, with elephants walking proudly on our soil for the first time in 300 years. In an exciting new development, Buffalo Kloof will also be introducing lion within the next 2 years. This means that we will then have all the legendary ‘Big 5’.
