Lloyd Pans USA Manufacturer

 Press Releases

  • LloydPans is a US Manufacturer.

LloydPans team of food solutions experts will be descending on Las Vegas for IBIE2019, showcasing the company’s innovative line of cake and cheesecake pans, as well as helping bakers add regional-style pizzas to their lunch and dinner menus.

As one of the leading pizza pan suppliers in the industry, LloydPans has recently worked with several retail bakeries on regional pizza line extensions for lunch and dinner. The work has proved successful for bakeries in increasing post-morning sales and attracting a new customer base. At its IBIE booth, LloydPans’ food solutions experts will be educating attendees on how to use existing ovens for baking pizza, and the types of pans needed to add pizza to the menu.

LloydPans will specifically be spotlighting its Roman-Style Pizza Al Taglio pans and Detroit Style Pizza pans. These two regional pizza offerings are served by the slice and have delicate crusts that require extended fermentation times and a baker’s knowledge of dough.

Also on display at LloydPans’ booth will be a complete line of cake pans and cheesecake pans, featuring the company’s proprietary Silver-Kote® coating. This coating improves baking performance, eliminates pre-seasoning and never requires re-glazing or re-coating. The company’s cake and cheesecake pans come in multiple sizes and shapes. New at this year’s show is a recently launched 8x4-inch cheesecake pan that provides a depth rarely seen with cheesecake pans.

  • At IBIE2019, LloydPans will be showcasing its innovative and proprietary Silver-Kote® coating, designed specifically to help bakers eliminate re-coating and reglazing costs. Silver-Kote® is created by combining the company’s in-house anodizing processes with an exclusive water-based release coating.

“We designed this coating system to eliminate reglazing,” Traci Rennaker, LloydPans’ president and chief executive officer, says.
“It bakes similar to bare aluminum but has the added benefit of being a permanent stick-resistant finish. It’s the perfect coating for
bakeware, especially cake and pie pans.”

Other benefits of the coating system include:

    • Unlike silicone, this coating will last through countless baking cycles with proper care.
    • Offers steam-proof finish, so de-panning can take place on the baker’s schedule.
    • Cuts costs and improves efficiencies by reducing use of release aids and parchment paper.
    • Neutral, non-toxic finish does not discolor products containing eggs.
    • Water-based release finish is PTFE and PFOA free.

  • Spokane Valley, Washington – Cake pans are the workhorse of many bakeries, used daily and often denting, warping or breaking down under the stresses of everyday bakery operations. LloydPans sought to extend the lifespan of these pans when its food solutions experts developed an extensive line of cake pans, which will be on display at IBIE 2019.

Available in multiple sizes and in round and square shapes, LloydPans’ cake pans are available with three coating options: bare aluminum, Silver-Kote® and Dura-Kote®. The Silver-Kote® coating is the most popular for bakeries and was designed specifically to eliminate re-coating and re-glazing costs. The coating also offers a steam-proof finish and reduces the use of pan releases and parchment paper. LloydPans builds its round cake pans in its Spokane Valley, Washington manufacturing facility. Each pan is built to exact standards and features perfectly straight sides, a small bottom radius, even wall thickness, a round rim and seamless construction. The cake pans are made with .050 (16 ga.) aluminum, and come in a variety of diameters and depths, ranging from 2-inch diameter x 2-inch depth to 18-inch diameter by 3-inch depth.

  • LloydPans will be showcasing its new Roman-style pizza al taglio pans at IBIE2019 at booth #7453.

This pan is perfect for retail bakeries looking to add pizza to lunch and dinner menus, and complements the company’s line of popular regional pans for Detroit-style, Sicilian-style deep dish and Grandma-style pizzas.

Pizza al taglio has its origins in Rome, but is quickly gaining popularity in the United States behind restaurants such as Bonci in Chicago. The Roman-style pizza is rectangular in shape, served by the slice and designed for a grab-and-go eating experience.

To make its pizza al taglio pans, LloydPans merged traditional Roman-style pizza pans with its proprietary pan
technology. To determine pan sizes, LloydPans replicated the size of authentic Roman pans, even changing
the company’s standard measurement from inches to centimeters for accuracy. To ensure durability in a
commercial operation, the company uses a heavy 12-gauge aluminum to construct the pan, anodizes it and
then applies the company’s proprietary PSTK® coating. This permanent, stick-resistant coating does not
require seasoning and it will never rust.

“We’ve carved out a niche in the pizza industry by expertly developing and crafting regional-style pizza pans,” Traci Rennaker, LloydPans’ president and chief executive officer, says. “Pizza al taglio is destined to be the next big restaurant trend, and these pans give pizzaiolos, retail bakers and commercial foodservice operators with the perfect pan to deliver a light, airy crust with bite.”

LloydPans’ pizza al taglio pans are available in two sizes:

    • Full Size: 40x60 centimeters (15.75x23.62 inches)
    • Half Size: 20x60 centimeters (7.87x23.62 inches)

The pans are two centimeters deep and feature a double-thick folded rim to increase durability. LloydPans
also has developed two cutting boards to complement the pizza al taglio pans.

Both the pans and the cutting boards are available for purchase at lloydpans.com and will be on display at IBIE2019 at booth #7453
from September 8-11 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

  • LloydPans Showcases Detroit-Style Pizza Pans at IBIE 2019

    A US Manufacturer

It’s one of the hottest trends in the pizza industry, and now, Detroit-style pizza is coming to IBIE 2019. LloydPans will be showcasing its industry-leading line of Detroit-style pizza pans, which are used by some of the top chains and independent pizzerias in the United States.

LloydPans’ team of food solutions experts will be at IBIE2019 at booth #7453 showing retail bakers how they can add Detroit-style pizzas to their lunch and dinner menus. The rectangular pizza can easily be served by the slice and has the ability to bring in a new customer base to retail bakeries.

LloydPans has spent a significant amount of time in its test kitchen developing the perfect Detroit-style pizza pan. It starts with a durable construction using 14-gauge aluminum that is hard-coat anodized and features a double-thick flat rim. The pan also features LloydPans’ proprietary Pre-Seasoned Tuff-Kote (PSTK®) finish, which is baked onto the surface of each pan. The PSTK® finish is a non-toxic and permanent release coating that eliminates the need for pre-seasoning.

The PSTK® finish is a significant technological breakthrough in Detroit pizzas, as pre-seasoning with a significant amount of oil is labor-intensive,” Traci Rennaker, LloydPans’ president and chief executive officer, says. “LloydPans’ PSTK® finish eliminates pre-seasoning and provides an effective stick-resistant finish that will not chip, flake or wear off. Our commercial customers love it!”

LloydPans’ Detroit-style pizza pans are available in the following sizes:

    • 8” x 10” x 2.38”
    • 10” x 14” x 2.5”
    • 6 “x 6” x 2”
    • 9” x 9” x 2”
    • 12” x 17” x 2.75”

LloydPans complete line of Detroit-style pizza pans are available for purchase at www.lloydpans.com and will be
on display at IBIE2019 at booth #7453 from September 8-11 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
