• Superior Felt & Filtration, LLC to bring Trupor® membrane media to global markets (Jan 13, 2022)

  Looking to better service and support the sub-micron liquid filtration world, Hollingsworth & Vose Company is partnering with Superior Felt & Filtration, LLC to bring Trupor® membrane media to global markets. Trupor® is a 100% Nylon 0.45 and 0.65 microfiltration media that meets and exceeds the performance of microporous cast membranes. Trupor® stands alone against standard submicron membranes offering higher flux and lower pressures as compared to other membranes available. Trupor’s® best in class pore size uniformity enables improved flow rates and faster, more predictive data modeling of filtration performance.

  The medical device and pharmaceutical supply chains have relied on H&V for over 20 years to provide state of the art filtration technology. Trupor® is the latest breakthrough in sub-micron filtration. Trupor® can be utilized in multiple cross platform markets and applications including biological fluids, process water, biopharmaceutical, electronics, clarification, fermentation, semiconductor, food and beverage, potable water, solvent clarification, API chemical and reagent grade chemical applications. • Superior opens Charlotte, NC office PhD scientist Ping Hao joins SFF team (Jan 13, 2022)

  We are proud to announce SFF has hired Ping Hao as Technical Nonwoven Product Manager. Ping is a highly accomplished and result-oriented professional with over 25 years in nonwoven and textile technologies, product and application development, process and manufacturing improvement, technical service, analytical instrument, and others. Ping has an extensive technical background and broad experiences in various nonwoven and textile technologies including nanotechnology, spunmelt, spunlace, thermal bond, needle punching, adhesive bond, thru-air bond, lamination, mechanical and chemical finishing, and structural composites that cover a wide range of applications including air and liquid filtration, medical, hygiene, industrial, automotive, wipe, home furnishing, packaging, and many consumer product applications. Ping holds 8 patents and many publications.

  Ping will be working with our customers, regional sales, suppliers, and converters to create innovative, differentiated, and value-added products to gain technical competitiveness and market advantages, explore different applications and generate new sales revenues for the company. She will also be working with Mark Rath, Filtration Product Manager to find new avenues for T-Stat and MB, and our strategic partner H&V to launch TruPor® product line for high purity liquid filtration application.
