WorkBC Employment and Skills Training
WorkBC’s goal is to help job seekers and employers successfully navigate B.C.’s labour market. We help people find jobs, explore career options and improve their skills, and help employers find the right people for their business.
WorkBC offers wage subsidies so eligible employers can hire job seekers, provide work experience, and support on-the-job training. We also pay for classroom technical training to support job seekers in achieving journeyperson status. Jobs in the trades are in high demand and apprenticeship training gives people the experience they need to get and keep a good paying and lasting job. Last year, over 13,000 individuals benefited from Apprenticeship Services.
