In July 2023 we published our first ever environmental product declarations (EPDs) across three key offerings including Hot-Rolled, Cold-Rolled and Corrosion-Resistant flat-rolled products. These EPDs provide quantifiable, independent, and audited environmental data on these core products.
We are on a journey to reduce our GHG emission intensity by 20% by 2030. U. S. Steel was the first American steelmaker to commit to a net zero greenhouse gas emissions goal by 2050 and the first North American steel company to join ResponsibleSteel™, a global not-for-profit working to make steel more sustainable.
