LRI ENGINEERING INC. (LRI) is a Professional Engineering firm that specializes in fire protection engineering, building code consulting and emergency planning. We are the largest wholly Canadian-owned engineering firm that specializes exclusively in these services.
The firm was established in 1986. Offices are located in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal [Laval] and Calgary.
The diversified staff at LRI includes experts with backgrounds in fire protection and building code consulting, fire safety plans, municipal plans examination and inspection, property management, construction/development, research and development and fire protection equipment design, retrofit, manufacturing and testing.
LRI staff have extensive dealings with regulatory authorities and are active on many Codes and Standards committees and industry associations. This involvement keeps the firm up to date on future trends in codes and standards and in new technology. LRI has also provided assistance in the evaluation and assessment of new fire protection equipment and materials.
