City of Toronto - Eco-Roof Incentive Program
The City of Toronto's Eco-Roof Incentive Program offers rebates to property owners who install a green roof or cool roof on their home or building. All existing homes and buildings and certain new buildings in Toronto are eligible to receive up to $50,000 for cool roof projects and up to $100,000 for green roof projects. Over the last 15 years, the Eco-Roof Incentive Program has funded 590 eco-roof projects, and recently launched an Ambassador Training to educate roofing professionals on the program application process, benefits of eco-roofs and how to communicate with clients about eco-roofs.
