Overview
Acoerela is a start-up from the National University of Singapore (NUS). We, the founding team of Acoerela, started out as academic researchers from a diversity of scientific background ranging from materials chemistry, biophysics and life sciences fields.
We are involved in research focused on the development and application of novel fluorophores known as Conjugated Oligoelectrolytes (COEs). These water soluble molecules have shown immense promise in bioimaging applications, thanks to their tunable optical properties and affinity for lipid bilayers. Our fluorogenic dye is highly relevant flow cytometry, detection of EVs, bacteria work, cell work et cetera and we are eager to explore novel applications.
