Description

The Panel, comprised of Albany government affairs insiders and seasoned capital markets and litigation lawyers, will discuss strategies for approaching the NY market to build a cannabis business in light of the unique statutory and regulatory environment that NY has been crafting. Using experiences from other jurisdictions (based on work done for significant cannabis investors and MSOs) as well as leveraging off of the experiences of NY alcohol distributors in navigating New York's multi-tiered regulatory regime, the panel will explain how industry participants can maximize their chance for obtaining a coveted license, protect that interest against potential litigation challenges and effectively partner with other industry participants to capitalize their business and grow market share and profitability. The panel will draw upon the knowledge of MSO representatives, lobbyists and/or license application specialists.
