Gary M. Gilbert is the principal and also works as a senior attorney of Gilbert Employment Law, P.C., which he established in May 2005. Mr. Gilbert is a member of the Bars of the States of Maryland and Florida. He is admitted to several courts and is an active member in a number of employment sections of state and local bars and other professional associations. Mr. Gilbert has extensive legal experience in the area of civil rights law. Prior to the opening of his own practice, Mr. Gilbert was “Of Counsel” to the Washington, D.C. employment law firm, Passman & Kaplan, P.C. Immediately prior to this position, Mr. Gilbert served as an Administrative Judge, then Chief Administrative Judge in the Baltimore District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for a total of 16 years. Mr. Gilbert was on the founding board of the Federal Employment Law Training Group (FELTG) and continues to deliver training on new developments in equal opportunity laws. Mr. Gilbert has authored many publications in the area of federal sector employment law.
