Federal EEO and Civil Rights Council

Upper Marlboro,  MD
United States
  • Booth: 406

The Federal EEO and Civil Rights Council has existed for over 25 years.  It started as an organization for EEO Executives.  However, in recent years, there has been an effort to expand the Council to include EEO practitioners.  This is why we are reaching out to the EEO community at all levels, and in all EEO capacities.

We are presently a non-profit organization not unlike any professional organization.  We intend to serve as the voice of the EEO community and as such to advocate on behalf of EEO professionals (including Diversity, Civil Rights, etc.), as well as being in service to the EEO community, by offering training, networking and other career enhancing opportunities.

The Federal EEO and Civil Rights Council’s mission can be distilled into the following three objectives:

  1. To be in Service to the EEO community;
  2. To be the voice of the EEO community; and
  3. Fully Committed to EEO, Diversity and Civil Rights.

It presently costs nothing to become a member of the Council.  In fact, we are happy to have as many members as possible.  We do ask two things:  first, spread the word about the Council to your EEO colleagues; and second, to be actively involved in the Council.  We are a volunteer organization and need involvement of our members to be effective.  If you are interested, please feel free to join us!
