Description
We all have a sexual orientation and gender identity, yet in our society people who identify as LGBTQ+ are often targets of discrimination. Ryan Sallans will intertwine storytelling surrounding his own journey with current best practice guidelines for managers and employees who seek to create a more LGBTQ+ inclusive workplace environment. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the session in order to address curiosity or confusion surrounding terminology and language, workplace concerns, and coworkers’ questions in relation to people who identify as LGBTQ+.
