Description

Workplace issues related to psychiatric disabilities can be difficult to address. Debra D’Agostino and Kendra Duckworth Shock will tackle how agencies should respond to federal employees diagnosed with or showing signs of mental health disabilities. Topics covered will include determining essential job functions and effective reasonable accommodations, as well as how to respond when mental health is raised as a mitigating factor to proposed discipline or as an affirmative defense to an adverse action.
