Lynda is currently a Senior Partner with AxisTD, where she provides Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training and coaching to employees at all levels in client organizations. Prior to her position with AxisTD, she served as the Assistant Regional Director, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Programs for Interior Region 2 of the National Park Service, a region that encompasses nine states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In this role, her responsibilities included serving as the primary advisor to the Regional Director on systemic issues related to equal employment and DEI; consulting with regional teams and organizations to advise on DEI strategies to increase workforce diversity and develop initiatives to advance inclusive policies and practices; and coaching and consulting with managers and employees to address issues and advance a proactive approach to resolving workplace conflict.
Prior to 2016, Lynda served in roles such as Director, Office of EEO and Diversity; and Recruitment and Cooperative Education Program Manager (both at the NASA Glenn Research Center); and Compensation Analyst at the City of Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of the Coach Diversity Institute and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Lynda holds an M.A. in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University and a B.A. in Sociology from Jackson State University. She has been a volunteer for Dress for Success Cleveland, where she presented workshops on workforce and career readiness to program participants.
