Christina Fegley is a Human Relations (HR) Specialist at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), part of the Department of Health and Human Services. Before joining HRSA in 2016 Christina worked for the Defense Logistics Agency in New Cumberland, PA. She has been working in the HR field for 15 years and is passionate about retirement and helping employees make a smooth transition into their next chapter of life. She is also a long time service dog handler and client. She has been partnered with 3 dogs over the past 17 years; her first was placed as she started college and continued to work with her into her first Federal job. During her time as a federal employee she has navigated work and travel with a service dog on official business. She enjoys educating the public on appropriate interactions with the handler and acceptable public behavior for a service dog. Christina currently has her working dog, Chickadee, living with her at home. Since the start of the pandemic, Christina has been a fully remote Federal employee and remained so due to pandemic-related loss of function related to stay at home orders. Christina continues to volunteer with Susquehanna Service Dogs and helps train the next generation of dogs for others needing a service dog.
