An educational technology leader since 2000, for the past five years Jon Ostendorf has served as Chief Information Officer at Princeton Day School, where he has also taught an engineering course. He previously led information technology functions for a premier independent boarding school, and for two of South Carolina’s largest school districts.
Jon believes in the potential of technology in education, and advocates for the evolution of technology leadership in academic organizations to meet today’s challenges. He has a keen interest in information security leadership.
Before working in education, Jon was an engineer for an international corporation. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
