Profile

Dr. Terence Cavanaugh is an associate professor of Instructional Technology at the University of North Florida’s College of Education and Human Services and a Fulbright Specialist. His areas of expertise include curriculum design, instructional technology, assistive technology, ESOL education, and teacher education. He has degrees in science education and instructional technology, and multiple teacher certifications, is a state certified media specialist, and Certified Microsoft Educator. He was a 6-12 classroom teacher for 16 years. He taught science and technology in the US, China, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the Caribbean. He has published 10 books on integrating technology with education, with his latest being books that integrated reading strategies within a classic text.
